This jade tea cup is hand-carved from a single piece of natural nephrite jade. The material is dense and fine-grained, with subtle translucency visible under strong light.
The cup features a straight-wall form with evenly carved vertical ribs around the exterior. This design gives the cup a structured, balanced appearance while also improving grip. Compared with smooth jade cups, the ribbed surface requires more precise carving and polishing, increasing both craftsmanship difficulty and production cost.
The interior is smoothly hollowed, with a rounded base that feels solid and comfortable in hand. Each piece shows natural variations in color depth and internal texture, which are characteristic of genuine nephrite jade.
